Project
C.O.M.E. brings together young people from Ukraine, Denmark and the Netherlands, each with their own background, story and church tradition. Together, we volunteer, visit local organisations and discover life in the host country. We share our cultures, faith and dreams for the future, while having plenty of fun along the way. By doing things together, new conversations, friendships and ideas grow—connections that might otherwise never have happened.
Droom
Our dream is to build an international community of young people that looks beyond borders, differences and stereotypes. Together, we learn from each other’s lives, cultures and faith. C.O.M.E. challenges you to put faith into action, take responsibility and discover how you can make a difference in your community.
Why and what
From 9–14 October 2026, we’ll meet in Copenhagen with young people from Denmark, Ukraine and the Netherlands. Staying together in a hostel, we’ll visit local organisations, youth initiatives and churches, volunteer, join workshops and share our cultures and faith. There’ll be time for prayer, worship, great conversations and, of course, exploring Copenhagen. A week of meeting, doing, discovering, believing and creating unforgettable memories together!
In February 2027, we’ll meet again in the Netherlands for four days of volunteering, inspiration, faith and fun. New participants are welcome too! In summer 2027, if the situation allows, we hope to travel to Ukraine for a volunteer week, working alongside local people and friends. Join one or more exchanges, build international friendships and discover how you can make a difference. From Copenhagen to the Netherlands, and hopefully Ukraine!
What it will bring you
This Youth Exchange invites you to look beyond borders and discover how young people in other countries live, believe and make a difference. Hear stories that may change your view of Europe, Ukraine, church and society, while discovering what you can contribute. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Come as you are, join in, ask questions, share your story, listen to others and discover what happens when three countries come together.
Who is it for?
C.O.M.E. is for young people and young adults who are curious about other cultures, faith, volunteering and international exchange.
You enjoy meeting new people, are open to different ideas and backgrounds, and are ready to actively take part in the programme.

Are you ready to join?
Maybe you’ll only join us in Copenhagen. Maybe we’ll see you again in the Netherlands. And maybe, in the summer of 2027, you’ll be working side by side with your new Danish and Ukrainian friends somewhere in Ukraine.
You don’t need to know yet where your C.O.M.E. adventure will end. You only need to decide where you want to join in.
What do we expect from you?
We’re looking for young people who are curious, open-minded and ready to take part. You don’t need any special skills or experience – just a willingness to meet new people, share your story and get involved.
We expect you to actively participate in the programme, be open to different cultures, backgrounds and church traditions, and contribute to the group.
You can join one or more exchanges. We hope you’ll stay connected with the international C.O.M.E. community and maybe join us again in the Netherlands or Ukraine!
Preparation
With Livingstone, you travel well-prepared. For instance, you receive (mandatory) participant training and the tour leaders receive tour leader training.
To arrange
For this trip you need:
- A valid ID card/passport ( Denmark/ The Netherlands) and passport (valid for at least 3 months after departure from Ukraine)
- You do not need a visa
- Vaccinations: check your home vaccination agency
- Travel insurance including coverage for volunteer work
Cost overview
The cost for the exchange in Denmark is €500 per person.
This includes travel to and from Copenhagen, accommodation in a hostel, meals, the programme, local transport and activities during the exchange.
You register and pay per exchange, so joining the Denmark exchange does not commit you to the exchanges in the Netherlands or Ukraine. Each exchange will have its own registration and costs.
